I recently spent two nights at the Crown Promenade in Melbourne. Several times a year I like to attend tech conferences to keep up to date with technology and learn about what my peers and other organisations are doing in regards to knowledge management and collaboration.
I’ve spent the last two days in Melbourne at the Crown Promenade attending the Enterprise Collaboration Tech Fest which did not disappoint.
The hotel is only a stones throw away from the city and has all the amenities that you need to be able to work remotely as well as being within a reasonable price point.
If you are a digital nomad and looking for a place to stay, close to the city with plenty to do this is a good option.
Melbourne is also known for its coffee and food and this venue has excellent coffee. I was tempted to walk to Little Collins Street but once I tried the coffee on site, I was hooked.
As far as working from here long term with my daughter in tow, I think I would struggle with things for her to do and would need to stay somewhere cheaper, but for a week or a long weekend this hotel is definitely an option.
